A Culinary Adventure in Emilia Romagna - Fall 2010

Immerse yourself in the region of food and wine for an incredible culinary adventure with a small group of 8 - 10 people. Create your own group or join other like minded people. This adventure will begin and end in the town of Bologna where we will have the advantage of experiencing the culinary specialties such as the prized tartufo (truffle), olive oil harvest, family cooperatives of production & tasting of parmigiano reggiano cheese and balsamic vinegar. You will be in the kitchen's of chefs with both demonstration and participation cooking lessons along with visiting the famous Bologna market. A Week at Villa in Tuscany
Nestling within 1000 acres of woodlands, olive groves, lakes and vineyards the villa location is unique and totally private. Formerly a hunting lodge the Villa is a superb Tuscan country villa with a perfect, secluded, hill top location. A winding, tree-lined, private country road leads to the property, which is situated within its own gated grounds and gardens. We specialize in gearing our customized tours to our clients. Each member of the group will receive a questionnaire asking for the activities and events they most want to experience on this adventure. All efforts will be made to weave in activities that will be of greatest interest to the individuals and the group. We will be somewhat flexible and spontaneous to take advantage of regional events and foods and will provide a final itinerary prior to your departure.
